Decathlon
The decathlon is an athletic contest consisting of ten track and field events. Events are held over two consecutive days. Performance is judged on a point system in each event based upon a universal scale. Historically, the winner of a decathlon was considered to be the greatest athlete. Decathlons are of Greek origin.
